Wood fired outdoor ovens by Blistering

This is a photo of an Oven made by Blistering wood fired ovens. We sell these at The Fire Engine in Bideford, North Devon. Wood fired ovens are made to be fired out of doors by lighting a fire inside the oven, food is then placed in the chamber of the oven once the fire has died down. This process makes the food taste very different from a normal house hold oven and is considered by some to give more flavour and character to the food as characterised typically by what we have become to know as the Streetfood movement.
