We love Heat Logs at The Fire Engine in Bideford. Hotties Heat Logs are made in the UK and made from clean recycled wood waste from local sawmills. The sawdust and shavings are dried to below 12 % moisture content and then compressed so hard a natural resin in the wood called Lignin is released. The high pressure produces a fluidised wood that is extruded to make a reformed log.

This high density log is clean to handle, burns with a heat closer to that of coal than logs, they last along time in a good modern stove.They come in 10 kg packs of ten logs per pack.

Heat Logs are a clean and convenient high energy fuel, they are easy to light, easy to stack and store and leave very little ash.
